About the Social Action Summit

Planning to change the world?  Here’s an opportunity to develop the skills you need to make your mark in your school, community, and the world.  Everyone has something — an issue or cause — that they care about.  But how do you get other people to help you work for your cause?  That’s what you can explore here — how to Spark Your Something and bring in people to support your venture.
We especially welcome our LearnServe Fellows, Abroad, and Incubator students, alumni, and their teammates; our Seeding Social Innovation cohorts. The Social Action Summit is intended for high school and middle school students from the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.  We are also happy to welcome their teammates, LearnServe advisors, and alumni who may fall outside of this audience.  We will ask for your school affiliation as well as your workshop preferences at the time of registration.
