Yasmine Arrington (LearnServe Fellow ’10 and LearnServe Zambia ’10) was selected the 2011 recipient of the $25,000 Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation annual scholarship.
Yasmine, a senior at Benjamin Banneker Academic High School, is founder of ScholarCHIPS, which awards college scholarships to children of incarcerated parents. In addition to Yasmine’s scholarship, Redskins owner Dan Snyder offered to match the $5,000 already raised by ScholarCHIPS.
