The article highlights a growing trend towards public and community service among students at graduate programs across the DC area. Increasingly these programs — from social work to business schools — are attracting, recruiting, and educating students driven by a social mission. Like our LearnServe students and alums, these graduate students are motivated by more than profits and careers: they are looking for a positive way to make an impact in their communities.
