Early on Sunday morning, September 18, more than 100 runners — and a handful of walkers — gathered at Meadowbrook Park in Maryland for the first annual 5K Run for the C&O Canal.
The race, organized by LearnServe alum Greg Picard (Fellows ’11) and his “Runners for the C&O Canal” team, raised more than $2,000 for the C&O Canal Trust.
