What do I need to do to establish my own non-profit? How can I make sure that my volunteers are keeping their promises? How do I find more board members who can help me with fundraising and other issues? How can I advertise my upcoming event and recruit more volunteers? These were only some of the questions discussed by LearnServe alumni and Deloitte consultants during the
LearnServe/ Deloitte venture clinics. The venture clinics were part of the Deloitte/ LearnServe partnership on Deloitte Impact Day on June 8, 2012. During the morning session, Deloitte consultants discussed latest developments in fundraising and social media communication with LearnServe staff. The afternoon was devoted to LearnServe Fellows: After touring Deloitte’s Center for Cyber Innovation and getting an idea of latest trends in collaborative workplaces, information sharing and data analysis, LearnServe Fellows sat down with Deloitte consultants one-on-one and discussed burning questions for their venture implementation. In LearnServe alumna Jessica’s words: “I just wanted to say thanks again for giving me the opportunity to talk with Deloitte yesterday.
