Trying to change the world, or even just yourself, is hard. Things don’t work the way you expect them to, people are resistant, or they don’t see the benefits to changing. It’s all too easy to see the difficulties and give up when motivation gets low.
One way that I keep myself motivated during hard times is through music. Music can reflect your mood — or it can change it. The right song can alter your whole mindset and remind you what you’re working for and how strong you really are.
I asked LearnServe staff and students what they listen to to keep themselves motivated, inspired, and ready to fight for change each day. This is our playlist, spanning both genres and decades. Feel free to tune in when you need a little pick-me-up or a reminder that the more difficult something is, the more it’s worth it.
This playlist is also available on our YouTube channel if you want to hear them all in a row!
