The Snowball Effect Gala made it snow!

On one of the coldest nights in DC history, the warmth in the room was palpable – energetic conversations, dynamic pitches, and a deep passion for social innovation.

We see through our students each year the power of each individual, each team coming together around a common cause.  On Friday we saw what it looks like when the entire LearnServe community comes together to invest in our students, their ideas, and their success.

Collectively our individual snowflakes snowballed into more than $40,000 in gifts and pledges.  More importantly, you have demonstrated your belief in the power of young people to create change – and your commitment to their successes.

We are excited to share a few photos from the night (below). Our full album is on our Flickr page, if you want to find yourself!

PS: If you made a pledge and are wondering how to fulfill it – or intended to make a pledge, but didn’t get a chance to share your pledge card – visit www.learn-serve.org/donate.  Thank You!

And the Incubator students who presented throughout the evening did their part during the "Fund an Opportunity." How could you say no to that?
